“We worked with Katie Hund on the room design/decoration for our wedding in August. We got married at Chaminade and didn’t want the reception to feel like some generic hotel ballroom. Katie did such an amazing job transforming the space and making it out own – we couldn’t have been happier with the result. Katie was a pleasure to work with and she absolutely transformed the blah ballroom with ugly carpet where our reception was held. I was admittedly quite nervous during the months leading up to the wedding because you can’t see “proofs” or sketches or examples of how everything will turn out, and we were working with Katie over the phone and email (we live in Seattle), but we couldn’t have put our trust in a better place. Katie took charge and made sure that everything came together just right and did an amazing job coordinating on the day of the event. Our design included lots of hanging items and she figured out how to make it all happen (no idea how she attached everything to the ceiling). She also worked with our florist on designs and added lots of charm and personal touches to everything she did. We got so many compliments on the beautiful space and most importantly, she created just what we were hoping for for our wedding day. Thank you Katie!”

“Every time someone asks me how I did a wedding to accommodate 250+ people in 4 months, I tell them Wylie weddings! The creativity of this team is what I treasured most. Jeff (their graphics man) had very little to work with (being that I am very uncreative and had trouble explaining my vision) but he gave us the perfect save the dates and invitations, heck even had options! Erica (the photo queen) was such a joy to have around on such a stressful day. It was truly like having a family member taking your photos, except they come out awesome and don’t have fingers blocking the camera. Any one would and will be so lucky to have her as their photographer. Katie (coordinating diva) she’s very good at what she does. From the moment I first met with her she made me feel at ease and totally taken care of. Which is usually what any brides needs. She also just laid everything out and helped in any and everyday she could. I was so lucky to have a woman so creative helping me get my dream wedding accomplished.   Basically I could on forever… But I’ll spare you readers. These people know what their doing and you can tell they love doing it and that’s always refreshing.”

“Katie, of Wylie Weddings, gave us a huge sigh of relief when she agreed to coordinate our wedding. She is one of those dynamic, professional, FUN and easy to like people who make even the most stressful times somehow ok because she just KNOWS how to deal with the nuances and intricacies of the complicated nature of wedding planning. Being an organizer myself, it was tough at first to think of handing off all of our well-laid plans to someone else, but Katie is so trustworthy, capable and on top of things that once she had all our google docs in hand, I could breathe a deep breath and trust her to get the job done. And BOY DID SHE!! Our backyard, mostly DIY wedding with 225+ guests, on site catering, parking shuttle and lots of detail was executed with perfection by Katie. She even weathered a guest passing out and ambulance coming, a power outage and rambunctious drunken groomsmen post-wedding. Katie is one to be trusted and empowered to make it happen for your wedding. We felt lucky to have had her on the job for one of the biggest days of our life!”

The venue that my daughter got married had a limited time frame, only two hours for set up and an hour for clean up; Katie was able to set everything up and tear everything down so quickly, there was nothing for me to do!
